Cycle Time Tool

The Cycle Time tool is a quick and easy way for you to view options before setting up a scenario.

It helps you to analyse the network, including finding the shortest and quickest travel option between two points.

Using Cycle Time

On the Build & Run tab, select Cycle Time from the ribbon. The Cycle Time tab displays at bottom of screen.

You can change the following options for cycle times:

Fields	Description
Loader	The types of loader available.
Hauler	The types of hauler available.
Material	List of materials to be used in the analysis tool.
Haul Route	The route you want to see the cycle time for.
Start	Choose the desired start locations for the analysis.
End	Choose the desired end locations for the analysis.

Enter information in the fields.
Click Find Route. The results will display to the right.

When you select one of the haul routes from the results grid, the selected one is highlighted in the 3D scene and the rest of the haul network is greyed out.

The following options are available from the context menu when you right-click on a result row:

Copy - The row is copied to the clipboard and can be pasted in an external application such as Excel.
Select All - Select all the haul routes in the results grid.
View Details - Displays a dialog box with travel time details. The dialog box comprises two tabs, Segment Details and Intrasegment Details.
Export Details to Excel - Exports the segment details to Excel. The file name defaults to
CycleTime_SegmentDetailsOutput_19102021_nnnnnn.xlsx
Export Route to TALPAC - Exports the haul route in a format that can be read and imported into TALPAC.
Export Route to Haulage Service - Exports the haul route to the Haulage Service. If the Haulage Service application is not connected, the option will be greyed out. Only one haul route can be sent to the service at a time. When more than one option is selected, the option will be greyed out.
Deselect Route - Brings all the haul network back into the 3D scene.

When you double-click on a result row, the travel time dialog box is displayed. An example is shown below.
